WARRANTY REGISTRATION

STANDARD 2-YEAR WARRANTY:
Fill out the registration form below or fill out and return the Registration Card [49 KB] to activate your warranty. During the first two years of ownership, Cyber Switching will repair or replace, at its option, any unit which malfunctions due to failure of parts or workmanship. Owner must call Cyber Switching for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, then send the unit postpaid to Cyber Switching, with proof of purchase. Cyber Switching will repair or replace at its option, the malfunctioning unit and return it to the owner postpaid. (See below for more details)

EXTENDED WARRANTY:
If you fill out and return the Registration Card [49 KB] within 10 days of purchase, you will receive a 1-year warranty extension for only $49.95*. With this extended warranty, any unit which malfunctions due to failure of parts or workmanship within 3 years of purchase, will be repaired or replaced at Cyber's option. Owner must call Cyber Switching for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, then send the unit postpaid to Cyber Switching, with proof of purchase. Cyber Switching will repair or replace at its option, the malfunctioning unit and return it to the owner postpaid. (See below for more details)

*NOTE ALL WARRANTIES BEGIN AT DATE OF PURCHASE, HOWEVER IF PAYMENT FOR ADDITIONAL WARRANTY IS NOT RECEIVED WITH REGISTRATION CARD, THE OPTION TO PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY WILL BE FORFEITED.

STANDARD WARRANTY

Term - The Standard Warranty is effective for 24 months from the original date of purchase.
Return Policy - Customer must call Cyber Switching Customer Support for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Upon prepaid return of any malfunctioning unit, Cyber Switching will evaluate, then repair or replace, at its option, such unit and return it, postpaid, to the owner.
Warranty applies only to unmodified equipment.
Warranty service does not include damaged, modified, or misused equipment. Such equipment is subject to standard repair charges.
Limits of Liability - Cyber Switching shall not be liable for incidental, special, direct, indirect, or consequential damages. Its total liability is limited to actual damages up to $1,000.00 or the cost of the product, whichever is less.
This agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California.
Cyber Switching is not responsible for any failure to render service due to strikes, fire, flood, other acts of God, or causes beyond its control. Seller warrants that the goods sold will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24 months, and this warranty will be limited to the repair and replacement of parts and the necessary labor and services required to repair the goods.

IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY WILL BE IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND IN LIEU OF THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY.
THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY, IF ANY, OF SELLER FOR ALL DIRECT DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION CONTRACT DAMAGES AND DAMAGES FOR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY, WHETHER ARISING FROM SELLER'S BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, INDEMNITY, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHER TORT, OR OTHERWISE WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS, OR ANY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE GOODS, IS LIMITED TO AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1000.00 OR THE COST OF THE GOODS, WHICHEVER IS LESS. IN NO EVENT SHALL SELLER BE LIABLE TO BUYER FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST REVENUES AND PROFITS, EVEN IF IT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE RIGHT TO RECOVER DAMAGES WITHIN THE LIMITATIONS SPECIFIED IS BUYER'S EXCLUSIVE ALTERNATIVE REMEDY IN THE EVENT THAT ANY OTHER CONTRACTUAL REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
